Hello Fellow Golfers!
We hope all of your hearts (and stomachs) got their fill over the Thanksgiving holiday and that you were able to spend tons of time with family and friends making memories. We are smack dab in the middle of the holiday season and things are continuing to heat up at Pipestone Indoor Country Club with the suites and our staff getting their fill of memory making from our loyal customers as well.
We wanted to send over a couple of reminders that will be important given our active tournament is drawing to a close and major gift giving holidays are arriving before we know it. Also, we wanted to cover some best practices that will be helpful when reserving some time with us during our busiest time of year. Please read on for some helpful updates.

Instruction as a Holiday Gift?
Golf instruction is returning to Pipestone Indoor Country Club this indoor season with the addition of two preferred golf instructors that will be available for scheduling in our simulator suites.
If you are interested, you can find the bios for Perry Melcher and Ryan Clem on the main page of our website. When clicking on the "Book a Lesson" button you will be prompted to send an e-mail to your selected instructor where you can work directly with them on scheduling and to understand their rates. Once you have aligned on a time, they should be scheduling your session for you and the learning can commence from there!
Before considering a new equipment purchase for the holidays, think about how helpful a few strokes off the handicap through instruction could be. The best investment may be knowledge and skill!

November Bestie Buster Ends Soon!
A familiar team still sits atop the podium at this point in the November Bestie Buster with Boiler Pajamas (-5) just squeezing by team M&Ms (-4) for the top spot. There is still plenty of time to sneak an entry in and to potentially seize your spot in the winner's circle. Reserve your spot to participate before December 4th.
We have aligned this month's Bestie Buster with a tournament that Golfzon is holding nationally for all Golfzon simulators! The GNAT is being hosted by Golfzon in the United States and boasts a total prize pool of $10,000 for participants. The best part is, there is no tournament fee to participate and you can enter as many times as you would like before it ends on December 4th. You would still have to cover your hourly suite rental time and we would recommend scheduling at least an hour per participant.
If you want to double up and participate in the Bestie Buster as well, you are more than welcome to do so by covering the $10 tournament fee per person which makes you eligible for the prizes provided directly from Pipestone Indoor CC. You DO NOT have to participate in the Bestie Buster to participate in the GNAT Tourney. As a result of the collab, the difficulty settings will be preset as provided by Golfzon for the GNAT tournament.
As a reminder, the in-house prizes are as follows; first place receives $200 (minimum) cash or club credit, second place gains free entry + simulator time to participate in their next bestie, and third place receives free entry. Ask us about the skins match as well!
You must have a Golfzon login in order to participate and you can either create a login online through Golfzon or inquire about how to set one up while visiting.
Give the Gift of Golf!
We have gift certificates and they are as good as cash! What better gift for your favorite golfer than a gift certificate that can be used however they desire for any purchase at our facility. That includes simulator tee times, concessions, retail, tournament entry fees, and the list goes on and on.
There are physical gift certificates available in our shop OR you can purchase them easily and quickly online through the shop on our website. Regardless of how you purchase, the gift certificate is saved in our system and can be used instead of or in addition to payment at the time of any purchase, so even if you misplace the physical copy or your e-mail, we will have a record here.

Winter is busy!
We are getting to the time of year when things fill up quick. For those interested in playing on weekends, we recommend booking a week in advance (maybe even two weeks as we continue to advance through the winter months). For weekdays, a few days is probably sufficient. A good idea for those looking to play on a regular cadence is to set up a reoccurring tee time throughout the winter months. You are always able to cancel them in the future or on a week by week basis, we just request cancellations be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. If you do see that the website is booked up for a particular day, you can either add yourself to the waitlist or feel free to give us a call and request to be added to the wait list. Cancellations do happen and we remain pretty active at reviewing when we can squeeze folks in for their desired time.
Another side note for peak season: If you book your appointments online, remember that the times you are presented are the next available by default. Always double check "am/pm" and which date the time is for. Also for those who book online, you are able to view your future appointments and make cancellations from your profile. You can also see remaining units on packages you have or adjust the methods by which you receive notifications as well as their frequency. See the picture below for clarification!
